Like Acupuncture, Dry Needling uses thin, filiform, needles to directly treat areas in the tissue called Trigger Points. These trigger points can occur due to multiple reasons but the one thing they all have in common is they can cause either localized or radiating Pain. Dry Needling treats these trigger points by causing localized micro-trauma to the tissue to help kickstart the body’s natural healing process.
